Welcome to the Parish Oven
In every town the Inn or Tavern has a long history and the names of our public
houses have a diversity of historical value and origin.
The 'Parish Oven' was built in 1972 by a local builder called Don Stonehouse
on a site where the farmhouse originally stood.
In it's time the farmhouse was an important part of the local community, where
members of the parish gathered as part of their daily routine.
Today, the Parish Oven is an award-winning bar and restaurant, priding itself
in it's warm and friendly atmosphere, excellent service and unrivalled
quality. Hidden away in the village of Thorpe Salvin, lies one of it's
best kept secrets...
